Kenilworth Resort is quite big and very well maintained in general. Staff at the resort are very friendly and always ready to attend, which is truly appreciable. Rooms are spacious neat and clean. Property has direct access to the beach, which is quite convenient. Breakfast buffet is fantastic with a wide variety of options. Swimming pools large and neatly maintained to serve needs of kids and adults. All in all, a memorable stay there comparable with Taj and Marriot.😀

Hotel request for credit card details

I had booked the Kenilworth for a 5 night stay through Booking.com and received confirmation. I then had requests from the hotel via booking.com that the hotel needed my credit card details, telephone number, e-mail address and copy of passport. In the light of recent scams I ignored the e-mails as I was unwilling to forward the details requested. However the day before I was due to travel I learned that the Kenilworth had cancelled my booking due to my not forwarding payment details. They sent an e-mail to say that they would cancel the booking but I did not pick this up as we were travelling. Hence a warning to all future Kenilworth guests that if the hotel request credit card and passport details this is not a scam as they will cancel your booking if they are not forwarded. I thought it worthwhile writing this review although we were unable to stay. Obviously my wife and I were disappointed but I have given them an excellent grading so I don't compromise what looks like an excellent hotel.
